The Systems Design and Architecture Department designs, evaluates, and develops sophisticated, software architectures for processing and exploitation of remote sensing information. We invent, analyze and implement the frameworks, infrastructures and algorithms that support real-time extraction and classification of static and dynamic events from a variety of very complicated data streams from pathfinder remote sensing assets. We process terabytes of near real time data daily, extracting information and providing it to national decision makers. You will employ systems-level thinking to plan, develop, and execute the implementation of solutions in the areas of cloud computing, security architecture, software architecture and network engineering. We design, develop, and deploy large, networked computing systems that push the state-of-the-art in data processing throughput and real-time response.

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Java Programmer to support a major national laboratory.   We are looking for a candidate proficient in object-oriented software design and development experience with significant experience with Java and Java frameworks.   Note:  After initial training, this will be a hybrid position with onsite work 3 days per week.  Candidate will need to reside in the Albuquerque, NM area.

Security Engineer Lead   Edgewater is currently seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Security Engineer to support our federal customer in the Washington DC area.

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in high-level IT infrastructure engineering and maintenance. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the leading VMware, Windows, Linux, and cybersecurity experts in Southeast Idaho.   This internship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of engineering, installing, configuring, and maintaining a full enterprise production environment. You will incorporate cybersecurity principles throughout, equipping you with the confidence to create secure systems in the future.   The goal is to provide the necessary skills to prepare you for an entry-level IT position.
