Recruiting Sourcer

The Recruiting Sourcer is responsible for identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities at Edgewater Federal Solutions. This position supports the Corporate Recruiting team by using proactive sourcing methods, applicant tracking system tools, job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other recruiting resources to develop candidate pools for technical and professional services positions. The Recruiting Sourcer will partner closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, Client Services, Professional Services, and Business Development stakeholders to support timely candidate identification, screening, and talent pipeline development while maintaining compliance with recruiting procedures and applicable employment requirements.

• Source and identify qualified IT, cybersecurity, engineering, professional services, and cleared candidates for current and future positions supporting Edgewater Federal Solutions.
• Build and maintain proactive candidate pipelines for high-priority, hard-to-fill, proposal, recompete, and future hiring needs.
• Use proactive sourcing methods, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, Dice, Indeed, job boards, social media, referrals, networking, resume databases, and other recruiting platforms.
• Review job descriptions, employment requisitions, and hiring criteria to understand position requirements, required skills, location needs, labor category considerations, clearance requirements, and client expectations.
• Conduct initial resume reviews and candidate outreach to determine basic qualifications, interest level, availability, compensation expectations, work authorization, location preferences, and clearance eligibility when applicable.
• Partner with Recruiters to transition qualified candidates into the screening, prescreening, interview, submittal, and applicant tracking workflow.
• Maintain accurate and timely candidate records, notes, statuses, and dispositions in the applicant tracking system in accordance with recruiting procedures and compliance requirements.
• Support posting and advertising efforts for open requisitions as needed, including external job boards and networking sites.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies based on skillset, location, clearance level, contract priority, hiring timeline, and candidate market conditions.
• Research market trends, talent availability, salary expectations, competitor hiring activity, and sourcing challenges for technical and professional services roles.
• Coordinate with Recruiters and hiring stakeholders to communicate sourcing progress, candidate availability, market feedback, and recruiting challenges.
• Help expand Edgewater’s talent network by maintaining regular communication with prospective candidates and creating a positive candidate experience.
• Support recruiting metrics by tracking sourcing activity, candidate outreach, response rates, pipeline progress, and qualified candidate flow.
• Assist with proposal recruiting and business development sourcing efforts by identifying potential key personnel and qualified candidates aligned to anticipated requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field; additional recruiting, sourcing, or staffing experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 1-3 years of recruiting, sourcing, staffing, talent acquisition, or related candidate research experience.
• Experience using proactive sourcing methods, including Boolean search strings, resume databases, social media, job boards, cold outreach, referrals, and networking.
• Experience working with an applicant tracking system or candidate relationship management tool.
• Ability to review job requirements and identify candidates who meet required technical, professional, location, clearance, compensation, and availability criteria.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage candidates professionally and effectively.
• Ability to maintain excellent working relationships with Recruiters, hiring managers, internal stakeholders, and job candidates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate candidate records, notes, and activity tracking.
• Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment and manage multiple requisitions, priorities, and deadlines.
• Knowledge of recruiting compliance concepts, candidate dispositioning, and fair hiring practices.
• Commitment to staying apprised of sourcing tools, recruiting trends, talent market conditions, and competitive recruiting practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience sourcing IT and Professional Services candidates for government contracts, including developers, cybersecurity specialists, help desk analysts, systems engineers, cloud professionals, network engineers, project managers, business analysts, and related technical roles.
• Experience sourcing candidates in cleared environments, including DoD, DOE, federal civilian, national laboratory, or other government contracting environments.
• Experience using iCIMS, LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, Dice, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Monster, CareerBuilder, or similar sourcing and recruiting tools.
• Working knowledge of OFCCP, affirmative action, employment law, and recruiting compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting proposal recruiting, incumbent capture, pipelining, or high-volume recruiting efforts.
• Experience sourcing local, remote, hybrid, and relocation-based candidate pools for difficult-to-fill technical positions.
