- BS in relevant discipline plus 2 years or directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job
- Must have an active DOE Security Clearance
- Must be US Citizen
- 100% onsite support
Required Skills:
- Windows System Administration in a corporate environment
- Experience with Server builds/rebuilds for networked and standalone environments
- Ability to research, assemble, and evaluate information or data regarding industry practices or applicable regulatory changes and recommend sound, practical solutions to complex issues
- Ability to create and maintain process and procedure documentation, to include but not limited to user instructions, job aides, checklists, etc.
- Proficiency in Firewall technology & management of private LANs/networks
- Proficiency with Network protocols and network management technologies
- Experience in adherence to policies, such as Cyber Security, Information Protection, Safety and Security policies for the work performed
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Linux server environments
- Familiarity of supporting classified computing
- Organized individual with self-drive to complete tasks
- Customer service focused individual
- Experience with utilizing a ticketing System
- Familiar with the maintenance and operation of VMware and Virtual Machine environments
