Overview

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management, execution, and oversight of IT programs throughout the contract lifecycle. This role ensures program objectives are met in accordance with contractual requirements and serves as a primary point of accountability for program performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and management of assigned IT programs.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate program activities to ensure contractual objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee program execution across the full contract lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements related to program management and staffing.
  • Serve as a key personnel resource responsible for program-level decision-making and accountability.
  • Coordinate with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) as required.
  • Submit a replacement resume to the COR in the event the Program Manager role is transitioned during the contract lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT program management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex IT programs.
  • Ability to fulfill key personnel responsibilities as defined by contract requirements.
  • Program management role supporting IT-focused contractual efforts.
  • Operates within a structured, contract-driven environment requiring adherence to defined requirements and reporting obligations.

  • May require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
