Technical Lead Senior SME

Edgewater is searching for a Sr. SME to work closely with Technical Leads, Developers, and Business Users to support key Microsoft 365 apps with a focus on SharePoint Online.

The work will be performed onsite in Washington, DC.

• The position is responsible for testing and supporting SharePoint applications to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and user experience.
• Key responsibilities include maintaining and working with Microsoft 365 applications, including but not limited to SharePoint and Teams.
• The ideal candidate combines strong technical testing skills with business acumen to deliver high-quality SharePoint based solutions that meet organizational requirements.

• All candidates must be US Citizens
• At least seven years of experience in specified technical field, or four years of recent, demonstrated experience with specified emerging technology and four years of experience in a closely related technical field
• Requires eight years of analytical experience
• BA/BS or MA/MS in computer science, information systems, mathematics, relevant field, or equivalent experience required
• Experience with SharePoint on-premises, SharePoint Online, Sharegate, Microsoft 365
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining SharePoint sites
• Experience with running a SharePoint farm
• Proficiency in bug tracking and defect management systems (e.g., Jira)
• Understanding of SQL for database management
• Experience with performance testing tools
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
• Experience with version control systems
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum team
