Overview

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support mission-critical systems for a federal law enforcement customer. The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.

Responsibilities

  • Defines project scope and objectives.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Assigned projects may include Enterprise scale network initiatives; planning, managing, and implementing complex Enterprise IT into construction and renovation projects, as well as major Enterprise upgrades.
  • Responsible for leading and advising teams to accomplish desired outcomes, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Expected to utilize SAFe, Agile and Tailored Waterfall project management methodology.
  • Required to track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines and report status and variances.
  • Experience identifying complex project risks, lead constructability reviews in relation to Enterprise IT.
  • Experience gathering requirements; read and understand detailed network, block connect, wireline and elevation, blueprints, construction narratives, building Program of Requirements (PORs), agreements, contracts, work letters, project charters, surveys, drawings, proposals, and other similar documents.
  • Experience with cross-team collaboration, stakeholder communication, and executive demonstrations /presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 8 years’ experience leading Enterprise scale network initiatives; planning, managing, and implementing complex Enterprise IT into construction and renovation projects, as well as major Enterprise upgrades.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams to accomplish desired outcomes, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Experience managing projects utilizing the SAFe Agile and Tailored Waterfall project management methodology. Experience tracking progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines and report status and variances.
