Senior Cloud Engineer

Edgewater Federal Solutions seeks an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to provision and manage cloud resources including virtual instances, networking, object/bloc/file storage, databases, and logging. 

This work will be conducted onsite in Washington, DC.

• Ability to provision and manage cloud resources including virtual instances, networking, object/block/file storage, databases, logging.
• Ability to administer cloud systems using a variety of methods, including: CLI, console, API, IaC.
• Able to manage and automate AWS services using infrastructure as code technologies, including Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK.

• At least seven years of experience performing the functions associated with this labor category.
• Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
• Experience in maintaining a cloud computing infrastructure, ensuring its availability, security, and
• efficient performance.
• Work experience with cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and networking concepts.
• Certification in one of the following:
  • AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
  • AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate
  • AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional
