Overview

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support a major national laboratory. Projects are a set of related activities associated with Line-Item Projects Project Controls program and candidate must have the ability to produce specific products or provide services to meet customer’s requirements. 

Responsibilities

  • Manages and ensures the timely completion of discrete technical or operational projects
  • Establishes technical requirements for the project
  • Defines project deliverables, budgets, and schedules
  • Oversees the project team in the planning, tracking, and execution of the project from initiation to completion.
  • Develop or maintain processes to meet specific programmatic needs and produce the work products defined by the hiring manager.
  • Responsible for cost analysis/control and planning and scheduling activities for projects or programs with significant non-routine requirements or for discipline/projects/programs/proposal cost and planning activities which require a high degree of technical skilled experience.
  • Identify, analyze, and provide innovative solutions to cost and schedule guidance to projects and programs.
  • Ensures work is completed as scheduled.
  • Identification of cost trends for management attention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience. 
  • In lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q clearance.
