Network Systems Tec 2

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Network Systems Technician to support the IT program at a major national laboratory. Work will be performed onsite in Los Alamos, NM.

• Manages the performance and profile of networked computer systems in support of programmatic activities.
• Provides technical assistance to computer system users.
• Assures computer system configurations conform to Institutional security requirements.
• Audio and video setup for meetings and events
• Learn laboratory policies to complete assignments.
• Responsible for developing solutions to routine technical problems of moderate scope and has minimal responsibility for end products

• High school diploma and 1-2 years of related experience. 
• U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q clearance.
• Experience with CISCO
• Knowledge and experience applying technical principles, theories, and concepts.
• Able to learn and work as a part of a team.
