Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a System Admin – Network Tools professional to support a major national laboratory.
AA in IT Related field plus 4 years of IT experience
In lieu of degree 7 years of job-related experience is required.
Experience in Windows/Linux system administration
Complete knowledge of networking principles for conjuring and maintaining the organization of the network
Proper understanding all types of hardware including routers, switches, wires, and other essential equipment
Knowledge of the common operating systems such as Linux, MS OS
Knowledge of IP addressing and some common networking protocols like IPv4 and IPv6.
Experience performing any network performance issues such as system crash.
